After Miyoko released her recipe to the
public and inspired by her story, Lali Ghlonti-Bankston, a
retired chef and fan of Miyoko's Butter decided, like many other people, to make her own version of the
popular vegan butter. She took Miyoko's original recipe and following the example of its
creator, named her own version Lalico's Butter. While the
ingredients are few, the method is far from simple. Lali worked with
the recipe over and over again until she finally mastered the
intricacies of the culinary chemistry involved.
Lalico has decided to share
her butter with select individuals. Lali
produces her butter in small, hand-made batches. She uses only
organic ingredients.
